Paris Tuning Show 2008

Wake Up…. Summer’s Coming! It’s been around for ten years now and has seen many changes, The Paris Tuning Show is one of Europe's best shows around and more is yet to come.
Over the last few years Paris has changed in to a smaller version of the SEMA show,
with car manufacturers now entering the show, leaded by Mazda.
Over 138.000 people showed up for this event, not only from France but as far as Greece and…. Norway. The place was rammed.!
 Paris is one of the first big shows of the year and reveals the hypes for this year. Matt Paint work on this Pug 406 is just one!
Flip painted colours are OUT and white is the new fashion.. who would have guessed.? VW Touareg does both trends really well.
Here are the latest and hottest Do's and of course…. The Hottest babes in town! And the place is heaving with them...
Retro is the new word in the Tuning world. The Autobacs Alpine kitted Megane was just a teaser.
Take an old car like an old Fiat 500 and stuff it full of high tech Infinity and Harmon Kardon equipment, the more the better.
 If you don’t fancy an old car? Take a brand new Audi TT and Hot Rod the thing!
Over the last couple of years we’ve seen many versions on how to pimp your rims. From full carbon to diamante overkill (works with the ladies though!!).
 THE rim thing for this year is bringing back the colour of your car in your rims.  I must say… I love it!
The DUB scene is coming up strong this year. Massive rims, lots of Bling Bling and a Snoop Dogg attitude combines into an absolute killer ride.
Alpine audio took it to the edge with their Merc. After an hour of drooling and gazing we decided to take some pictures and ask the nice people from Alpine if we could barrow the car.
A complete photo shoot is what we got, taking the car home was not an option… DAMN!!
Now you tell me, where should you put your leathers? According to the French…
on the OUTSIDE! Must be something wrong with their cheese or wine.
Leather finishing first seen last year on the same show now rules throughout the scene.
Two tone paint seems to still be around, but all was painted down the middle of the car... This look is still growing!
That they got strange ideas? is also shown by the use of what can best be described as exploding carpets, the brighter the better.
Last but not least some massive bikes. Over the last years the bike show was a separate show next to the tuning department. Lazereth being one of the biggest customisers.
 This year they made a wise decision to integrate this event into the main show.
Thanks to shows like these the car and bike tuning world is getting closer and closer and reveals some pretty astonishing creations.
The all new Fiat 500 was there showing it could be a Tuning car for the future..

You can even fit 19" rims on the little buggers.
The Interior finishes were out of this world, as everyone tried something a little different?
This Pug 206 looked nothing like the original..
White leather and Carbon Fibre looks the nuts on this Fusion demo car owned by Marc
MTX Audio also had a demo car with the Jackhammer!! The worlds biggest and loudest sub still... Bloody Loud!!
The Autobacs Alpine Megane had IPod's to steer with and only one seat..
The Pioneer girl was a bit shy and wouldn't look at the camera!!
We We and a bottle of wine too... Nice!
The girl from Kenwood wanted to go for a ride?..
Turtle Wax had their girls washing polishing all weekend!!!
Think it was a hard decision? Cesam Mustang or Buff Girl? Fuck it we'll have the Mustang....
Even The Fuel Girls turned up with the Car Catwalk..
And they went down a storm with the French who clearly aint used to the UK girls..
Thanks to the people of Fusion Electronics for using their hideout and for the great nights with the girls…………..

Paris 2009 is already planned for the last week of February next year and promises to be even bigger and even better! This was your wakeup call, you know what to do now….. summer 2008 is on it’s way!
