Tuner Special: JE Design Seat Ibiza

VW tuning monster JE Design has released the first details on its modifications for the recently released 2008 Seat Ibiza. The aggressive kit includes a set of lowering springs, new multi spoke 17 or 18 inch alloy wheels and a sleek body kit featuring a front lip, side skirts and rear apron.

Although the German tuner has yet to reveal any engine mods for the all-new Ibiza hatch, a full kit is in the works. A wing door conversion, thread chassis, coil-overs and other body components will be available in the future.

As well as some changes to the diesel engine under the hood. The 1.4-liter TDI will now have 105 horsepower, up an extra 25 bhp, and the larger 1.9-litre TDI will get the same power boost, hiking its output to 130 hp.

All the parts can be purchased separately, but the full kit in Europe will run around $4,350 with the basic 17-inch rims.

FTL Think: The addition of the JE Design kit is a great look for the newly redesigned Ibiza.
